The Style 240 UltraSoft® 9 oz Insulated Vest features a shell made from 9 oz Westex® UltraSoft® fabric, composed of 88% cotton and 12% high-tenacity nylon, trimmed with HiVisTex Flame™ Ultra reflective striping, engineered for flame resistance guaranteed for the life of the garment, with lowered X-striping on the back for additional space for a company logo or hooded undergarment, an external attachment point for an H2S monitor using strap and elastic fasteners, and providing multi-purpose protection against electric arc, flash fire, molten ferrous metal, and welding exposure, while meeting NFPA 2112, CGSB 155.20, NFPA 70E, CSA Z462, and ASTM F1506 standards; the 12 oz quilted insulation package includes a wind and vapor barrier, flame-resistant modacrylic insulation, and a lining of 88% cotton and 12% high-tenacity nylon.
