At the Custom Windsock Company, our windsocks are hand sewn using waterproof, UV resistant, polyurethane-coated polyester that stands the test of time and weather. Our windsocks are used in airports, helipads, industrial facilities, refineries and high-risk applications around the world

    Key Features

    • High quality fabrics: Made of 300D PU fluorescent polyester (180 g/m²)
    • Fluorescent: Complies with EN 471:2003 hi-visibility warning clothing for professional use
    • Waterproof: Complies with EN 343 protection against rain
    • UV fade resistance: Tested under ASTM G154-23 and resulted in only slight color change

    Craftsmanship

    • Finished with four lines of stitching on the inlet mouth and outlet fly end
    • Includes gust protection band sewn into the mouth of the windsock to prevent grommet tear-outs during periods of high velocity wind gusts
    • Finished with heavy duty #2 brass grommets every 5” along the mouth circumference
