- The core accommodates 1.57" (40 mm), 2.36" (60 mm), 3.26" (83 mm), and 4.33" (110 mm) thermal transfer ribbons
- Insert the Universal Ribbon Core into the central core of a roll of ribbon;the Universal Core adjusts to accommodate different ribbon widths
- Increases the thermal transfer ribbon compatibility for the printer
